who should play Melanie Stryder in the Movie?

Okay i strongly believe that the person that should play her is Mandy Musgrave. I think she would fit the role prefectly. And she (in my opinion) is an amazing actress. It seems that she would match her perfectly, look wise and everything. I would love for her to do the role.

I'd really like to see a very talented actress play Melanie/Wanderer. Maybe someone like Scarlett Johansen or Camilla Belle. I just hope they don't ruin the role and put someone like Megan Fox...who is totally beautiful but doesn't seem talented enough to pull it off. I'm not familiar with Mandy Musgrave...but she looks like she would fit the looks of Melanie.

I also think someone talented should play this role. I was watching a show on Syfy called Alice. Its kinda like Alice in wonderland but not. Anyway The actress that played her was Caterina Scorsone, she was very good. Then i read the host and saw that they were turning it into a movie. I strongly believe that this actress should play the role of Melanie. She's a strong fighter and coldhearted, but at the same time gentle and looking for something in the world. I think that is what Stephanie should be looking for in an actress.

I think alyssa Milano should play Melanie! She has proved in charmed that she can play both the sides that the character needs to portray - ie Wanda is so caring and placid but Melanie needs to be someone that is tough and rough around the edges but still beautiful.
I think a really strong actor needs to play the part and i think thats where twilight went wrong with Kristen.
The host movie needs to be done right or it will ruin the awesomeness of the book!

I think Alexandria Daddario should play that part as she exactly fits the role!! As she can be strong and gentle
I like Alyssa Milano and was a great fan of Phoebe in Charmed but I think shes too old to play both parts.

I think it's somewhat impossible to find the right fit for melanie/wanda! I mean you have to get an actress who can play a strong, passionate, Intimidating character like Melanie AND a compassionet, loving, fragile, angel like alien like Wanda.. and of course she has to be beautiful!

I think Melanie/wanda should be played by a somewhat unknown actress, if they chose a famous actress I think it would ruin the movie, and take focus away from the beautiful story.

I think Mandy Musgrave/Camilla Belle/Sophia Bush all look the part, but I don't know if they can act well enough.

I don't think Caterina Scorsone is beautiful enough to play melanie, though she is a very talented actress.

I agree that Alyssa Milano is a bit too old, even though I absolutely loove her.

I'm not a very big fan of Scarlett Johansen, so I hope she won't get cast, and I kind of think that she would ruin the movie.

When i read the book, i always pictured someone who was like mila kunis. But im not sure. It has to be someone who is very very talented. Scarett seems like she could pull it off well. Melanie of course has somewhat two personalities so we will need someone who can pull both of those off to perfection. To capture the audience into the story, rather than picturing the actress herself?

I wish sophia bush would get that role....she's perfect ....I think ....while reading the book i could only imagine HER in melanies or wandas role...idk why but i'm sure she'D be awesome
