I liked Wanda more. She was so sweet.

I love Wanda. But I understood where Mel was coming from. I like both I guess but Wanda wins by a landslide.

I think it's really hard to choose between Mel and Wanda, just imagining what Mel feels being there trapped on her own body, it just make me understand her actions. And Wanda, well she is really sweet, and a great soul, but still is hard to think who’s best.

Yeah. It's hard not to like Melanie, given her situation and everything. And she is really sweet - just maybe not always as... forgiving as Wanda. Besides, Stephanie Meyers didn't write the book from her view, and I tend to go for the easiest view point.

yeah, but isn't it kinda Wanda's nature to be forgiving? anyway, i think i like Mel better cause i feel sorry for her, and she is really brave, like to jump down an elevator shaft. also, i kinda tend to like the person who not a lot of people like, just so someone likes them. i also think that it is sorta unfair to ask wanda or Mel because you only get to see everything from Wanda's point of veiw, if you see something from someone elses side, you almost always are more sympathetic to that person.

Good point. I'm shallow that way, because I always tend to go for the main character. The funny thing about the book, though, is that its told from the harder side. Jared only really sees Melanie's side, at least in the beginning, but Ian can look past and see Wanda's side. But then, for the reader, it's easier to see Wanda's side, because it's told from her point of view.

I agree too! It is way easier to jump on Wanda's boat cus you know how she thinks. If it was anyone elses point of view It would be different.

yeah, i like Mel better just cause if i read it from neither of their points of veiw, i would probablly like Mel better or as you said ' jump on Mel's boat' (except it would be Mel and not wanda, so it's not exactly what you said but whatever!)

I like how Melanie can just do things for herself without needing any help. And how headstrong she is....

Like how Wanda could have carried water, but she couldn't make herself? She was also less fit, though. Love you Wanda!

It's an odd thing that I like the main point of view character though. But I personally think Stephenie Meyer did a better job on her characters this time I guess?
... I don't care for Bella in the least. Yet I love Wanda, and dislike Mel... hm.
