*giggle* Mm... well then you like Mel. I like Wanda. Its not like anyone needs to fight to the death over whose better. Though, *looks at previous speakers* I suppose it's hard liking the underdog. And Melanie is kind of an underdog here.

Yes. And, we didn't get to see much about her. We just knew that she was stuck in the back of 'our' head((seeing as Wanda told the story)) and that she sometimes could get annoying. I liked how strong she was physically and mentally. She never panicked in stressful situations or anything.

Ya I totally get what you mean. It would be cool to hear her story but I don't think there would be much to tell.

It would be a much shorter book for sure. And it's easier to understand Mel's feelings than Wanda's, with no other explanation, I think.

i think Mel's story would be interesting and coolio, and longish, and stuff! and yes, it is hard having the underdog be ur fav. but that's part of the reason i like her best. and i can understand why Mel would be a least a little annoying! put yourself in her place people!!

Wanda could also be annoying, I feel like. She's treated horribly. But she's not. (Don't make me quote Ian!)

lol! you people make me laugh! anywhooooo....................... i think Wanda is a LITTLE annoying. i mean, everyone is at least a little annoying in some way, don't you think? i guess Mel is more than a little annoying at times, but, it would be annoying to have someone controling you so that would make you all touchy and mean and, well, annoying, so people would think that you were more annoying then you are because of the certain time and situation they are around you in!! does that make sense? i still like Mel better.

I still think Mel is naturally slightly violent, but you're right. And I guess that Wanda could been seen as annoying because she's sort - of a Mary-Sue, but I don't feel that way personally.

i am right? YAY!! anyway..... since the book is written from the veiw of a naturally completely unviolent soul, then Mel would probably seem just a little bit more violent. also, sometimes anger brings out violence, and Mel probably had a lot of anger. plus, aren't we all just a little little tiny teensy weensy little tiny bit violent at some point? i am surprised that Mel wasn't more violent!

Yeah. It's hard not to like Melanie, given her situation and everything. And she is really sweet - just maybe not always as... forgiving as Wanda. Besides, Stephanie Meyers didn't write the book from her view, and I tend to go for the easiest view point. no she didnt write it from mel's but with stephenie meyer you can never say never! ('midnight sun' anyone? p.s. OH PLEASE DO IT DO IT DO IT!) lol
