;D
We really ought to have some questions here.... I'll start.
O Sunny, Sunny of Sunnyness, Queen of Startliness, Queen Shiny Spam, and your hair is being annoying right now, like, really, has it completely lost it... are you in any way sane?
Once upon a time, all the writers in the forest got very mad with the Forest Kings and declared a work-stoppage. The forest creatures were all sad; the mushrooms did not dance, the elderberries gave no juice for the festival wines, and the Teamsters were kinda pissed. (They were very polite about it, though.) During this work-stoppage, many writers tried to form partnerships for outside funding to create new work that circumvented the Forest King system.
Whoops, that's the writers' strike. ERROR: PROCESSING.
Shledzguohn?
Oops, wrong button again. I really need to get the buttons of this automatic-answer thing in order here. ERROR: PROCESSING.
BEWARE! Those with weak hearts should log off lest they be terrified by the twisted genius of our schemes! Also pregnant women and the elderly should consider reading only certain sentences. Do not mix with other blogs. Do not operate heavy machinery while reading this blog. You must be this tall to read. ‘Kay?
Darn... sing-along blog key....
Actually, I am. Can you believe it? I couldn't either!!! I mean, I almost spilled my coffee on those test results!!!
Ah, found it....

The writers' strike sounds interesting. But it didn't exactly make sense. (Is that what you were tyring to do?)

But Burt said I could!!!
Wrong button... again.... This is the evil keyboard, so it figures.
That would be just CAKE, dahling.
Why am I hitting all the obscure keys? What's the switch set to?...
Hey, you've reached Athena at ###-####. Please leave a message! Do not operate heavy machinery while leaving a message. Pregnant woman and the eldery should leave messages with caution. Those with severe heart conditions should consult their doctors before leaving a message. Do not mix with other calls or voicemails. You must be this tall to leave a message. Results may vary.
Oops, that's my voicemail.... (No, seriously, that's my actual voicemail greeting.)
We only have three talents left. Please look them up yourself.
Darn! The talents button.
Well, if you examine it carefully, it makes perfect sense. Let me translate: One day, the Writers' Guild decided that they weren't being paid enough, and declared a strike. The movie- and TV show-watchers were all sad; the actors did not act, the directors did not direct, and the Teamsters were kinda pissed. (They weren't very polite about it, though.) During this strike, many writers tried to form partnerships for outside funding to create new work that circumvented the Writers' Guild system. See? It's just a matter of filling in the blanks!
There it is!

It is!
I have an automatic-answering machine. I just press a magic button and it answers the question! However, it does not like being hooked up to other computers. Right then, I was on a hotel-owned computer.
